The DART truck is equipped with:
- Coffee and hot water dispensing units
- Snacks (cookies, train mix, beef jerky, nuts, etc.)
- Fresh bottled water
- Gatorade
- Ice
- Carbon Dioxide Monitor
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
We can:
- Provide warm gloves, hand warmers, and socks
- Dry wet gloves or frozen boots with our heating unit
- Provide thermal blankets
- Check firefighters for prolonged exposure to Carbon Dioxide (treatment is then provided by EMS at the scene)
- Use the cooling mist unit for overheated firefighters
- Offer towels soaked in ice water for overheated firefighters
