We continue to receive inquiries from other counties in Michigan and stand ready to help them form their own Disaster Assistance Response Teams.
Washtenaw County
In 2014, representatives from Washtenaw County noticed what we were doing and indicated that they would like to form their own Disaster Assistance Response Team.
We met with them on numerous occasions and provided them with all of the information and documentation that we had on starting a similar organization.
By November, 2014 they had created an organization called HART (Helping Area Response Teams). Website: hhv.care
We are very proud of the work that they do and frequently share ideas on how to make each of our organizations more effective.

In 2016 a group of retired firefighters from Jackson County contacted us and asked for our help in forming a team.
We met with this group and provided them with all of the information we had regarding forming and maintaining a Disaster Assistance Response Team.
On the first of February, 2017 they had completed the formation of the Jackson County Disaster Assistance Response Team – J-DART. Website: j-dart.org
